Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)

“People are always blaming circumstances for what they are. I don’t believe in circumstances. The people who get ahead in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and if they can’t find them, make them.” — George Bernard Shaw

Thinking, Feeling and Behaving are all organised through your brain. NLP gives you the tools to understand, at a practical level, how you create your experience, and communicate with yourself and others.

As human beings, we are creatures of habit in what we think, what we feel and what we do. Some habits are really useful, while others can be ineffective, limiting or even undermining. With the help of NLP, you can understand your own patterns, how they have been formed by your past, how they affect you now, and how they can affect your future. NLP gives you the tools to change or fine tune your patterns so that they become aligned with what’s important to you and what you want in your life.

NLP began in the 1970’s, when Richard Bandler and John Grinder became fascinated by the work of Fritz Perls, Virginia Satir and Milton Erickson, questioning how they succeeded in helping their clients make dramatic changes in their lives. So began the pursuit of excellence that is the hallmark of NLP.

It is based on how people actually think and behave, rather than theories about why they do what they do. It is grounded in reality and not speculation, based on what actually works.
